About

Intrigued by the transformation jewelry has as an object onto the body, Susan Lorraine playfully experiments with the idea of wearable sculpture. Inspired by geometry and Japanese minimalism each piece is stripped down bare to the essence or bones of its design, which is at once simple and light weight.

A California College of the Arts graduate and traditional wedding ring designer and goldsmith, Susan has dabbled in many corners of the jewelry industry. It was through the need to break the confinements in design and techniques of jewelry tradition that Susan Lorraine Jewelry was created in 2016.

Susan Lorraine’s collection is crafted on the lush Pacific Northwest Island of Vashon out of recycled sterling silver and gold fill.
